Strategy

In West Vancouver it was a buyer's market especially for condos, but the seller preferred to sell quickly. Gavin felt that the home had many advantages that would appeal to a West Vancouver condo buyer. The home had a large spacious floorplan with traditional elements with crown moldings, fireplace and lots of natural light. The huge south facing patio made the home feel like a detached home. While the home was clean and well cared for, it had some older details that Gavin felt could be mitigated with fresh paint and staging to highlight the unique features of the home.

Marketing

Professional photos, video and professional floorplans along with drone footage were created to market the home. The video included sweeping drone shots to showcase it's close proximity to Ambleside beach and the retail district. The fresh paint and staging brightened the home and showcased and updated but traditional design.  

Outcome

The home was listed on a Thursday with showings by appointment over the weekend. The unit received multiple offers and was sold in 4 days. 
 The average condo in West Vancouver at that was taking approximately 33 days to sell. With thoughtful preparation and marketing that showcased features that West Vancouver condo buyers would be interested in, this home sale went smoothly for the seller.
